course discusses the development of
Christian apologetics from the
first century through the present. It
will focus on the way in
which Christian thinkers responded to
challenges ranging from the
persecutions of the early centuries to the
rise of rationalism during
the Enlightenment to the rise of materialism
during the 20th century.
