Continue to take notes from the “Journal of Lewis and Clark” to use in interdisciplinary project.

Overview

By the end of the class the students will / be able to:

• Improve note taking skills
• Write the Star Spangled Banner
• Discuss the story behind the Star Spangled Banner
• Discuss play and story of Battle which took place during the war of 1812
• Have fun with History

Worksheets, journal, copies of play, background info on Star Spangled Banner

Give notes from journal

Students will write out the Star Spangled Banner in a timed period (5 minutes)
