Before 2007, students in the Seed 415 class put together history/social
science home pages. Though students enjoyed putting their materials
together, few of them ever put their home pages to practical use. In
2007, I began experimenting with having students put together
history/social science blogs instead of home pages. They found
the process much easier, and my guess is that at least some students
will find practical uses for the blogs when they are teaching
themselves.

The blogs below are mostly "dummy" blogs, not yet made useful for
classes. My own
blogs are perhaps better examples of how a blog might be of
practical use in teaching.
