One of the best pieces of advice I ever got on teaching was the suggestion
that I should constantly ask the question, "What would it be like to be
a student in my class?" Well, what is it like to be a student
in one of my classes? Here's what the student's themselves have to
say:
Part of our job as teachers it to equip students with the tools necessary
for success. I've prepared an introductory "College Success" text
for my students, Dragons, History Professors,
and Other Hazards of College Life.
The best measure of a teacher is not so much what they can do themselves,
but what they can inspire their students to achieve. Here are some
