The most wonderful, most interesting, most exciting campus in northeastern South Dakota--and also one of the best bargains you'll find in higher education. Northern State University is a great place to study, especially if you plan on teaching. As I've told many of my students, you can easily get a better undergraduate education here than I got at Stanford--and without going into debt. |

Phi Eta Sigma is an honor society which recognizes outstanding achievement by freshman students. You are eligible to join Phi Eta Sigma if you have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the close of any academic term during your first year in college. Transfer students are also eligible. |

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship offers an opportunity to make lifeling friends, to have a good time, and to develop a personal walk with God. Large group meetings feature singing, group activities, and interesting guest speakers. Among my presentations to IVCF: "Cheated, Lied to, Stepped on, and Broken: How Education Fails Students" and "Love, Sex, and the Fragile Egos of Men". |

Among other study helps, the Blue Letter Bible contains on-line Greek and Hebrew texts. Excellent for those studying Biblical languages--though it takes a few minutes to figure out how to use. |
